Dominican Republic and Cuba. The species was until now considered as Cuban endemic (e.g., Hansen 1999, Peck 2005), although Van Tassell (1966) mentioned specimens from the Dominican Republic. We are here confirming the occurrence of the species in the Dominican Republic based on recently collected specimens deposited in KSEM.
