Aristena rechingeri is a species of terrestrial gastropod belonging to the family Helicidae. [1]
It was originally described as Levantina rechingeri.[2]
The species is endemic to the island Karpathos, Greece.[3] It is a very rare species, without published observations of live individuals. Following a phylogenetic analysis of DNA contained in the shell, it has been transferred to a newly erected genus Aristena.[4]
