Syzygium guineense subsp. guineense

Description

Small to medium-sized tree. Branches and leaves often have a drooping appearance. Inflorescences axillary and terminal in creamy white, rounded heads. Flowers sweetly scented, showing a mass of stamens. Fruits oval, purple to almost black when ripe.
