Salix fragilis () is a species of tree in the family Salicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Criorhina ranunculi, Sanderson Bumble Bee, Yellow-banded Bumblebee, and Dasysyrphus tricinctus. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
