Salix fragilis () is a species of tree in the family Salicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Eristalis pertinax, Platycheirus dexter, Chrysotoxum cautum, and Sphaerophoria scripta. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
