Amastus paramensis Dognin

Amastus paramensis Dognin, 1911b, p. 11.

Forewing 34.0 mm. Head and thorax dark brownish orange. Forewing transversely striated with greyish brown; terminal fasciae light yellow. Hindwing pale yellow, with reddish orange anal suffusion. Dorsal surface of abdomen pastel red on segments 1–5, brownish grey on 6–8; tail fringe brownish orange. Abdomen brownish orange ventrally.

Described from one male and one female from Paramo del Quindin, Colombia. The female paralectotype is in the USNM collection.
