Icica attenuata Rose, sp. nov
Probably a tree ; branches terete, glabrous ; leaves pinnate ; leaflets 5, lanceolate, longacuminate, entire, dull-green, 6-10 cm. long; flowers perfect, in slender narrow panicles 5-7 cm. long ; calyx small, usually 5-toothed ; petals usually 5, oblong, obtuse, 2 mm. long ; fruit 2-2.5 cm. long, glabrous, attenuate at the apex.
Type collected on Guadeloupe Island, in 1893, Duss3273 (U. S. Nat. Herb. no. S467S6).
