The larvae feed on Quercus emoryi.[3]

Lophocampa mixta is een beervlinder uit de familie van de spinneruilen (Erebidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1882 door Neumoegen.
