Acyclania tenebrosa Dognin
Acyclania tenebrosa Dognin, 1911b, p. 15.
Forewing 27.5 mm. Front of head orange, ventral to acuminate frontal process; rest of head a mixture of dark greyish brown and orange-white, with orange posterior margin. Thorax a mixture of dark greyish brown (weakly iridescent) and orange-white, with some orange scales posterolaterally. Wings brownish white and brown. Abdomen dark greyish brown, with a few yellowish white scales posteriorly, especially on dorsal surface; tergum of segment 1 with orange anterolateral patch on each side; tail fringe orange.
Described from a single male from San Ignacio, “Mt. Parana,” Misiones, Argentina. [Paraná is a state in neighbouring Brazil.]
