Cyathea (Treefern) is a genus of shrub in the family scaly tree ferns. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have pinnate leaves. They have alternation of generations.
