Ratibida columnifera (Mexican Hat) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Svastra obliqua expurgata, Anthophila, Two-Striped Grasshopper, and Colpa octomaculata. Individuals can grow to 3.1 feet.
