Ratibida columnifera (Mexican Hat) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Reakirt's Blue, Euodynerus hidalgo, Burnsius communis, and Halictus ligatus. Individuals can grow to 3.1 feet.
