Boreal species that does not reproduce in Arctic waters, although may be carried into the Arctic with Atlantic waters
The seconds pair of thoracopods is elongate; the last segment carries a number of firm setae; the penultimate segment is bare. The last abdominal segment is longer than each of the previous segments. Uropods very narrow; exopodite is almost the same length as the telson, exopodites is somewhat longer.
