Micranthes yukonensis Small, sp. nov
Leaves spreading, 4-6 cm. long, the blades oblong to obovate or orbicular-obovate, rather coarsely dentate, finely pubescent on both sides, sometimes vinous-red beneath, the teeth purple-tipped, the petiole-like bases mostly shorter than the blades, rather copiously ciliate ; scapes usually several together, 9-17 cm. tall, purple or purple-tinged, sparingly glandular-pubescent throughout, corymbosely branched above, the peduncles and pedicels elongated in age ; cymules few-flowered, lax ; sepals ovate, about 2 mm. long, generally ciliolate, reflexed; petals white, 1.5-2 mm. long, the blades oblong, rounded at the apex, generally with two minute yellowish spots below the middle, narrowed into claw-like bases ; filaments clavate; follicles about 2 mm. high, usually purple-tinged, the short stout tips ascending or spreading.
