Wyethia amplexicaulis (Mule Ears) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Polygonia gracilis zephyrus, Juba Skipper, and honeybees, bumblebees, and relatives. Individuals can grow to 0.78 m.
