Description
provided by Flora of Zimbabwe
See var. oppositifolius for general description. This variety is distinguished by the woolly crisped hairs in the axils, shorter pedicels, up to 5 mm long and the often smaller, petiolate leaves which are more obovate spathulate and only attenuate at the base (see note below). In general appearance in the field it may appear to be more similar to Glinus lotoides var. virens except for the clearly non-stellate hairs.
