Description: Nodding Coneflower Erect shrub that grows to 2 m high with pink-cream-white flowers in Aug to Nov. The flowers generally are nodding or facing the ground. The individual flowers open upright from the base of the flower. The pollen presenters are yellow when fresh but soon turn red after the pollen is removed. I haven't seen many of these plants and therefore not seen any pollinators. Photo: Fred. Date: Taken on 24 October 2016, 12:28. Source:
