Uredinia amphigenous, scattered, large, 1 mm. across, eariy naked, deep-yellow fading to white, ruptured epidermis somewhat noticeable ; urediniospores ellipsoid or globoid, 17-21 by 20-25 # ; wall rather thin, 1.5 p, verrucose, with crowded, cylindrical papillae,
somewhat deciduous.
