The yellow flag (Iris pseudacorus) is the commonest European iris. In America it is an invaive species. In Israel it reaches its southern most range and is very rare and endangered. At the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens we grow it in the shelter garden for endangered species. A backup for the very few populations in the wild.
