Stachys byzantina (Woolly Hedgenettle) is a species of perennial herb in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Anthophora terminalis, Two-spotted Bumblebee, Indiscriminate Cuckoo Bumble Bee, and wool-carder bee. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
