Elongate and distinctive hypotrich, with the anterior wider than the posterior, up to 300 microns long. The prominent adoral zone of membranelles occupies one-third to almost one-half the body length. The arrangement of cirri is typical of the genus with three distinctive frontoventral and three very divergent long caudal cirri. There are two ovoid macronuclei.
