Notocochlis cernica is a species of snails in the family moon snails. They are native to New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone. Dead Notocochlis cernica form shallow marine sediments. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 7 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are burrowers.
