Arenicola marina (Lugworm) is a species of segmented worms in the family lugworms. They are upward conveyors. Individuals can grow to 20 cm. They have parental care and asexual reproduction. Reproduction is gonochoristic, semelparous, and iteroparous. They are facultatively mobile swimmers.
