Nigella sativa (Black Cumin) is a species of annual herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by 11-spot ladybird, Megachile submucida, and Phytomyza atricornis. Individuals can grow to 0.29 m.
