They are native to Caatinga, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, and Santa Catarina. They have simple, broad leaves.
