Styrax japonicus (Japanese Snowbell) is a species of tree in the family Styracaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Vespula shidai, Large bee-fly, and Baccha maculata. Individuals can grow to 15 m.
