Cistus monspeliensis (Montpelier Cistus) is a species of shrub in the family Cistaceae. They are native to mediterranean basin. They have dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Oedemera lurida, Oedemera flavipes, Stomorhina lunata, and Bee. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
