Morella cerifera (Wax Myrtle) is a species of tree in the family Myricaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Puerto Rico, North America, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and Florida. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Red-banded Hairstreak. Individuals can grow to 8.5 m.
