Helenium autumnale (Common Sneezeweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Halictus ligatus, Paranthidium jugatorium, Honey bee, and Brown-belted Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 4.9 feet.
