Linepithema humile (Argentine Ant) is a species of Hymenoptera in the family ants. They are native to Brazil, Paraguay, The Neotropics, Argentina, and Uruguay. They visit flowers of Sophora fernandeziana, California brittlebush, island false bindweed, and California buckthorn. They are diurnal omnivores. They have parental care (female provides care).
