Ranunculus eschscholtzii (Eschscholtz's Buttercup) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Phaonia protuberans, Hiatomyia hecate, Botanophila, and (page not found). Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
