Ipomoea alba (Moonflower Or Moon Vine) is a species of shrub in the family Convolvulaceae. They are lianas. They are native to Amapá, Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, RondôNia, Distrito Federal, Pampa, Amazônia, Rio De Janeiro, Roraima, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pará, Piauí, Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Brazil, Maranhao, Tocantins, Cerrado, The Contiguous United States, Sergipe, GoiáS, Pantanal, Bahia, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Norte, Espirito Santo, Acre (Brazil), U.S. Virgin Islands, ParaíBa, Pernambuco, and Mato Grosso. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Chondrocera laticornis, Tersa Sphinx, Carolina sphinx, and Pink-spotted Hawkmoth.
