Mirabilis jalapa (Four O'clock Flower) is a species of shrub in the family Nyctaginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Carolina sphinx, Lucifer Hummingbird, Buff-tailed bumblebee, and convolvulus hawk moth. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
