Zanthoxylum kellermanii P. Wilson
A shrub or tree (?) ; branches armed with pale-brownish prickles 3-5 cm. long ; leaves 2-3 dm. long, equally-pinnate (possibly through the suppression of the terminal leaflet) ; leaflets6 or 8, oblong to elliptic oroblong-obovate, ll-14cm. long, 4.5-6 cm. broad, the lower pair somewhat smaller, inequilaterally rounded or cuneate at the base, abruptly shortacuminate at the apex, lustrous above, paler beneath, the primary nerves rather prominent ; branches of the inflorescence clothed with short, mostly appressed hairs; sepals 5 ; gynoecium apparently 4-carpellary ; follicles 2 or 3, sessile, ellipsoid, compressed, 5.5-6 mm. long, 5-5.5 mm. broad; seeds ellipsoid, 4.5-5 mm. long, 4-4.5 mm. broad, black, shining.
