Guarea guidonia (American Muskwood) is a species of tree in the family Meliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Roraima, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, Tocantins, Ceará, Maranhao, Bahia, Rio De Janeiro, ParaíBa, GoiáS, Alagoas, RondôNia, Amazônia, Puerto Rico, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Paraná, U.S. Virgin Islands, Santa Catarina, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pernambuco, Pará, Amapá, and Sergipe. They have compound, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 16 m.
