Hibiscus aculeatus (Comfortroot) is a species of perennial herb in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Ptilothrix bombiformis. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
