Cryptocarya alba (Red Cryptocarya) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Hagnagora vittata, Stilbosoma rubiceps, Colletes cyanescens, and Cadeguala albopilosa. Individuals can grow to 20 m.
