Tripos horridus is a species of Dinophyceae in the family Ceratiaceae. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pernambuco, Pará, Bahia, SãO Paulo, and Espirito Santo.
