Caryophyllia smithii (Devonshire Cup Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family caryophylliid corals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Devonshire Cup Coral form shallow marine sediments. They are solitary. Individuals can grow to 150 µm. They have asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
