Curimata cyprinoides és una espècie de peix de la família dels curimàtids i de l'ordre dels caraciformes.[4]
Morfologia
- Els mascles poden assolir 21,3 cm de llargària total.[5]
Hàbitat
Viu a zones de clima tropical entre 23°C - 27°C de temperatura.[6]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Sud-amèrica: delta del riu Orinoco,[7] curs inferior del riu Amazones, riu Tocantins i conques fluvials atlàntiques de les Guaianes.[5]
