Mustela putorius (Western Polecat, Polecat) is a species of mammals in the family Mustelidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to the Palearctic. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 168 months and can grow to 358.92 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running and arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
