Bidens laevis (Smooth Beggartick) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Paraná, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, North America, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, and Pampa. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Sachem, Viceroy, and small white. Individuals can grow to 3.3 feet.
