Cirsium muticum (Swamp Thistle) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Yellow Bumblebee, Common Eastern Bumblebee, Melissodes desponsus, and Northern Amber Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 5 m.
