Ambrosia trifida is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Limenitis archippus. Individuals can grow to 1 m.
