Ambrosia artemisiifolia (Annual Ragweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Ceará, Canada, Pará, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, The Contiguous United States, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Amapá, Eastern North America, Mexico, Amazônia, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), United States, RondôNia, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Hypocritanus fascipennis. Individuals can grow to 86 cm.
