Eriophyllum lanatum (Common Woolly Sunflower) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and Western USA. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Euphydryas chalcedona, Tharsalea gorgon, Northern Checkerspot, and Clodius Parnassian. Individuals can grow to 6 dm.
