Descripció
- Fa 14 cm de llargària màxima.

- 8 espines i 9-10 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal.
- 3 espines i 9-10 radis tous a l'aleta anal.[6]
Hàbitat
És un peix d'aigua dolça, salabrosa i marina; amfídrom; demersal i de clima tropical.[6][7]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba des de l'Àfrica Oriental fins a les illes Filipines, Fiji, les illes Carolines i la badia de Sagami (el Japó).[6][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
