És un peix de clima tropical i demersal que viu fins als 40 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba des del Pakistan fins a la costa occidental de la Península de Malacca.[4][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26]
Ús comercial
És venut fresc i en salaó als mercats locals.[4]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
