Paracanthurus hepatus (Blue Surgeonfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family surgeonfishes. They are native to Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. They are solitary herbivores. Individuals can grow to 31 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on swimming to move around.
