Description: Characterized by male with grey color on back, narrow yellow stripe from upper eye to middle of caudal peduncle, ending in series of blue spots, lower part of body with broad blackish stripe confluent with black stripe on lower half of caudal fin, a second, narrower black stripe along upper edge of caudal fin, pearly white spot below eye; female similar, but colors are less vivid and lacks white spot below eye and blue spots on peduncle; longitudinal scale series 63-75; absence of head pores (Ref. 90102).
