Priolepis robinsi is a species of goby native to the Atlantic Ocean off of Santa Marta, Colombia.^[2] The specific name honours the American ichthyologist C. Richard Robins (1928-2020) who was at the University of Miami where he studied neotropical gobies.^[3]

Se encuentra en Santa Marta (Colombia ).^[1]​

Observaciones

Esta especie parece ser endémica de la región de Santa Marta en el Caribe colombiano donde no es abundante. Habita fondos duros entre 5 y 27 m de profundidad, incluyendo formaciones coralinas, sustratos rocosos y fondos de cascajo. Se alimenta de crustáceos pequeños. Es inofensivo para los humanos.

Priolepis robinsi is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van grondels (Gobiidae).^[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1991 door Garzón-Ferreira & Acero P..

De soort staat op de Rode Lijst van de IUCN als niet bedreigd, beoordelingsjaar 2009.^[1]
