Arctic Hookear Sculpin

Caudal fin rounded. Light with dark, pale brown or reddish mottling; dorsal fin with small, roundish white blotches on a dark background, especially distinct in males; anal and pectoral fins with dark cross-bars; caudal fin with blotch on base (Ref. 4698).

Found on sand, mud or hard bottoms (Ref. 4698). Benthic; feeds on invertebrates (Ref. 58426). Parasite found was a copepod, Haemobaphes cyclopterina (Ref. 5951).
